About This Project

EMCA helped clients, FirstBank of Nigeria devise, organise, manage and produce the 2^nd Virtual outing of their FAMA extravaganza night in Lagos, Nigeria. FirstBank has been in existence since 1894, so with over a century old legacy the stakes were to deliver an excellent event. The FAMA 2021 mission was to celebrate resilience through the Covid- 19 period. It was important for company moral to celebrate their year’s successes despite us all going through dire times. EMCA also had organised the 2020 virtual event live streaming from a ground-breaking and technologically advanced studio in the heart of Lagos mainland. The internal event engaged over 5,000 staff through the Zoom and MS Teams platforms across Nigeria, the continent of Africa & the UK within all subsidiaries of First Bank.

The client engaged us to manage and facilitate the event from start to finish; with some top billing & trending celebrities performing that included musician Joeboy, comedian Funnybone, DJ Big N, MC Bisola and MC Kie Kie and livewire hypeman Do2tun. Initially billed as a hybrid event with 250 of the bank’s chosen guests – with the surging pandemic delta strain we were instructed to turn this to a fully virtual event with 10 days to the strike date. Mission accomplished! We helped the client deliver a well-received campaign and event that brought some in their global teams hotly contested awards accolades, treasured prizes and south after gifts.
