The Ikoyi Golf Club was established in 1938 after the merger of the European Club and Lagos Golf Club. Ikoyi Golf Club is one of the oldest sport clubs in Nigeria.

Located in Ikoyi, Ikoyi Golf Club  is a private member family club and it occupies an enviable area of approximately 456 acres of land and provides first class facilities for about 10, 000 members.

The Ikoyi Club Golf course is a par 71 course made up of 18 holes, totalling 5838 meters in length. Each hole is portrayed by unique features such as sand traps, fairway bunkers, water and huge trees. The course is located in the centre of a residential area and provides a perfect getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle of Lagos City life.

IKOYI GOLF CLUB FACILITIES

The main facilities at this popular Lagos golf club comprise a reception area, large symmetrical hall known as the Rotunda (where formal Club events take place) which overflows into the Patio Bar.

Other facilities include an expansive lounge that house a medium sized dancing floor and a roomy bar named the main bar, a well equipped Kitchen with its own internal convenience, changing room and a kitchen administrative office occupied by the chef.

Ikoyi Golf Club is about 10 minutes from Victoria Island, the commercial centre of Nigeria, and about an hour drive from Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
