Tourism has always been one of the most attractive and interesting purlieus for millions of people all over the world. It is a commercial organization and operation of holiday and visit to places of interest with activities such as sightseeing and camping.

Some places of interest that I find arousing and educational includes places like Olumo rock in Ogun state, Agodi gardens in Oyo state, Hi-impact plant in Lagos state, Kajura castle in Kaduna state, Idanre Hills in Ondo State, Tarkwa bay beach in Lagos state etc.

A visit to Abeokuta is incomplete and one would not have augment on the fun prospective of the city if one did not visit Olumo rock as the name of the town Abeokuta means ‘under rock.’ It is one of the most visited tourist attraction sites in Nigeria. The rock’s height is equivalent to a 17-storey building, or a total of 412 steps, at Olumo rock, you will see attractions like, natural tunnels, pathways, monuments of belief system of the settlers, gardens on the rock etc. To my knowledge, it was said that over a thousand of people visits the resort yearly.  Am sure you don’t want to miss out the beautiful attractions, do you?

Agodi gardens is another fascinating place to visit with families and friend. It’s a beautiful and peaceful park in the city of Ibadan which has become one of the top tourist centres in the country. The peaceful environments makes it a suitable destination to take a break with families and friends. From the water parks to the animal enclosure or even just walking through the garden paths, Agodi Gardens is sure to be perfect destination for you.

My unforgettable experience was at Idanre hills in ondo state, with the pinnacle reached by six hundred and sixty-seven (667) steps, it’s an awe of nature and a marvellous tourist destination. Estimated to be over 800 years, it consists of high plan speculated valleys of about 300ft above the sea level. Idanre hills is a place where beauty, mystery and majesty speak with the voice of silence.  Its physical attractions include owa palace, shrines, old court, Agboogun footprint, thunder water and lots more.
